Mr. Barton’s career as a structural engineer dates back to 1996. His project portfolio includes commercial and residential design, bridge design, structural analysis, and damage assessments. Mr.Barton worked for Barter & Associates from 1996 to 2005 before starting Barton & Shumer Engineering, LLC (formerly Barton Engineering, LLC) in 2005.
Mr. Shumer’s career spans 25 years of civil engineering projects including drainage, site design, roadway, and subdivision development. He joined Barton & Shumer Engineering, LLC, as a partner in 2005. He has extensive experience in working with local planning and zoning departments and local and state agencies to obtain permits and approvals for new developments, as well as renovation projects.
